Detectors

We cover the complete spectrum of modern HPLC detection. From standard UV/Vis for routine work, to PDA for spectral confirmation, to RI for non-UV-absorbing compounds, ELSD for gradient applications, and radioactivity detection for radiopharmaceutical analytics. All detectors feature robust construction, low baseline noise, and high linearity — developed and tested in our laboratory for your specific applications.

Description

Variable wavelength UV/Vis detector for routine and research analytics. Dual-lamp (D2+W) design: 190–800 nm wavelength range with minimal baseline noise. Front-accessible flow cell for easy exchange and cleaning. Side-accessible lamp housing for pre-aligned lamp exchange.

The S 3250 is the larger-format variable wavelength UV/Vis detector with identical optical performance to the S 3245 but in the full 396 × 165 × 478 mm housing. Identical features: dual-lamp, 190–800 nm, programmable wavelength switching, integrated peak detector, optional dual channel and online scan.

High-sensitivity RI detector with thermally isolated optics, programmable temperature control, and extremely stable baseline. RS232 and USB interface. Available in micro, analytical, and semi-preparative configurations. Ideal for polymer, sugar, and lipid analysis where UV absorption is absent or when gradient elution is not used.

Photo-diode array detector for routine and research analytics. Available in 256-diode (190–720 nm) or 1024-diode (190–1015 nm) configuration. Four simultaneous UV channels without a data system. Integrated peak detector, optional 4-channel analog output. Data rate 1–100 Hz.

Universal HPLC detector for non-UV-absorbing compounds that cannot be resolved isocratically or detected by RI. Suitable for lipids, sugars, polymers, and surfactants. Patented rotary aerosol drying chamber; works at low temperatures. Removable, easy-to-clean all-glass rotary chamber.

The S 3700 γ-spec radioactivity detector is based on a 2" NaI(Tl) scintillation counter with borehole crystal in 4π geometry. Three interchangeable measurement loop volumes (5 / 50 / 250 µl) at the front panel. Full lead shielding of all wetted components. Integrated injection valve. Half-life-corrected peak intensities.
