Complete systems

Integrated Chromatography Platforms, Ready for Your Application

When pumps, injectors, ovens, detectors, and software are matched to the same separation chemistry, you spend less time tuning hardware and more time producing reliable data. Sykam complete systems combine proven modules into pre-configured lines for amino acid analysis, routine and research HPLC, ion chromatography, and radiochemical purity testing. Each platform is assembled, tested, and documented in Fürstenfeldbruck so you can move from installation to validated workflows without guesswork.

Sykam modular chromatography systems and instrumentation

Amino acid analysis

S 433 — Automatic Amino Acid Analyser

Classical ion-exchange separation with full HPLC automation

The S 433 unites the resolving power of traditional ion-exchange separations with modern solvent delivery, temperature control, and post-column derivatisation. A quaternary gradient pump, cooled autosampler, column thermostat, high-temperature ninhydrin reactor, and dual-wavelength photometric detection work together as one controlled sequence — ideal for protein hydrolysates, physiological fluids, and demanding matrices. Wetted surfaces are fully inert (PEEK, PTFE, PVDF). Chromstar 7 with the Amino Acid Analysis plugin automates identification, multi-level calibration, and reporting for long screening runs.

HPLC

S 600 Series — Analytical HPLC Systems

One modular family from isocratic simplicity to demanding gradients

Laboratories rarely need a single “generic” HPLC line — method development, quality control, and research each place different demands on flow range, gradient strategy, and detection. Sykam analytical systems centre on the S 1130 pump platform (isocratic, quaternary low-pressure, or binary high-pressure gradient), with the S 5300 autosampler, S 3250 UV/Vis or PDA options, column oven, degassing, and Chromstar 7 control. Stainless steel and PEEK flow paths let you align materials with your mobile phase and biocompatibility requirements. When your workload grows, the same architecture scales toward semi-preparative and preparative configurations without replacing your software or training model.

Ion chromatography

S 150 / S 151 — Pre-Configured Ion Chromatographs

Anions, cations, and organic acids with minimal setup time

Our ion chromatography stacks ship as integrated lines: pump, thermostated separation, conductivity detection, and proprietary auto-suppression are tuned to work together from the first day. The same platform supports common anions and cations, organic acids, and — with optional valve switching and pre-concentration — trace targets in clean water matrices. Dual-detector and multi-channel upgrades extend the system when your method portfolio expands. You avoid the integration risk of mixing unrelated modules; instead you get a documented, factory-tested configuration with a clear path to validated routine analysis.

Radio-HPLC — Decay-Corrected Purity and Metabolite Profiling

Pre-configured lines for the most common radiochemical separation tasks

Radio-HPLC for PET and SPECT quality control demands sensitive detection, shielding, and software that respects half-life physics. Sykam radio-HPLC packages pair proven HPLC separation with the S 3700 NaI(Tl) detector: 4π geometry, lead-shielded fluidics, selectable loop volumes, and half-life–corrected peak evaluation for meaningful comparisons across runs. The layout is optimised for the recurring challenges of radiochemical purity and metabolite studies — so your team spends less time re-engineering shielding and plumbing, and more time releasing batches against specification.
